Sacred Heart Catholic Church will host a St. Cecilia concert Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at the parish, 139 Third St. NE, New Philadelphia. The concert, titled “Voices for Peace,” is presented in honor of Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music.

Area churches and schools will participate, including the Sacred Heart adult and youth choirs, Saint Joseph’s adult choir, the New Philadelphia First United Church of Christ choir, The Singing Saints from Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary School and The Ave Maria Choir from Immaculate Conception School.

The concert is free and open to the public.
