Pickleball beginner clinic set for Oct. 22 and 29 at Tuscarawas County YMCA
Two-session clinic led by local instructor Steve Gooding will teach basics through drills and game play; registration required by Oct. 20.
The Tuscarawas County YMCA will host a two-day pickleball clinic for beginners Wednesdays, Oct. 22 and 29, from 6-8 p.m. in the YMCA main gym.
Instructor Steve Gooding of the Tuscarawas County Pickleball Club will lead the sessions. The first evening will focus on instruction and drills, with review and game play on the second night. The clinic is open to ages 16 and older. Participants should bring a paddle and water; balls will be provided.
Registration is required by Oct. 20 either online or at the YMCA. The cost is $15 for YMCA members and $25 for nonmembers. Each clinic is limited to 12 participants.
