The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host New Philadelphia native and author Doug Dummermuth at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at its Main Library and Operations Center. Dummermuth will discuss his recently published book, “Going Postal.”
He wrote the book under the pen name Corky Giles. The fictional thriller follows the spiraling downfall of rural postal carrier Fred Hart.
“Doug is a retired postal worker and a beloved member of the community,” said Adult and Teen Services Manager Tabitha Johnson. “We are happy to have him share his experience in writing and publishing his first book.”
Dummermuth will take questions and sign books following his talk. Copies will be available for purchase.
To register for the free program, visit the library’s online event calendar at tusclibrary.org or call the Main Library at 330-364-4474. The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW in New Philadelphia.
