The Little Twist on Mineral Festival Committee announced plans for the 11th annual A Little Twist on Mineral Festival, scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event coincides with the 13th anniversary of the tornado that reshaped the town, offering residents a day to celebrate resilience and community spirit.

This year’s one-day festival will feature longtime favorites, including the annual car show judged by Yesterday’s Classics Car Club and a lineup of family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon. The Moonlyterz will take the stage in the evening, leading into the festival’s traditional fireworks display. All activities are free and open to the public.

Organizers said 2025 marked another record-setting year, allowing the committee to donate $3,500 to Tuff Bags, a local charitable program. The festival will again support Tuff Bags in 2026, with hopes of surpassing last year’s contribution.

The committee is seeking sponsors and silent auction donations to help fund the event. Because the organization is a 501(c), all sponsorship contributions are tax-deductible. Sponsoring businesses will be recognized at the festival and featured on the event’s social media platforms.

“Every dollar raised through sponsorships goes directly toward covering event expenses so that all proceeds can be donated to our 2026 charity,” organizers said in a statement.

Those interested in sponsoring can submit the required form and donation by June 12, 2026. Materials should be mailed to the Little Twist on Mineral Festival Committee, P.O. Box 63, Mineral City, OH 44656.

Festival organizers thanked the community for its ongoing generosity and support, noting that the event continues to thrive because of local involvement.

“We couldn’t do this without the help of our amazing community,” the committee said. “We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in July.”
