Library seeking presenters for 2026 Sustainable Living Faire
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is inviting community members with a passion for sustainable living to participate in its third annual Sustainable Living Faire, set for Feb. 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Main Library & Operations Center.
Organizers are looking for presenters and vendors with experience in homesteading, solar energy, gardening, pollinators, recycling, farming and other sustainability topics.
“I am looking forward to hearing from new presenters on new topics so the Sustainable Living Faire will feel fresh,” said Cara Randall, the library’s support services manager. “While the event is months away, the planning committee is accepting participant forms from those interested in showcasing their skills or business.”
Those interested should contact the library at 330-364-4474, ext. 221, or email tcplevents@tusclibrary.org to request a participant form. Forms must be returned by Friday, Sept. 12. Committee members will review submissions and notify accepted participants by Monday, Oct. 6.
The Sustainable Living Faire has featured a wide range of programs and vendors in past years, from meat curing and goat milk soap to herbal remedies, gardening, pollinators and timber. Participants can reserve a free vendor table and may also present a 30-minute breakout class or demonstration.
“Our Sustainable Living Faire has been a customer favorite since its debut in 2024, so we are excited to offer this program for attendees of all interest levels in sustainability,” said Library Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell. “The event is the perfect opportunity for community members to share their skills with the public.”
The Main Library & Operations Center is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW, New Philadelphia.
