Hospital offers community cholesterol screenings at 4 area locations
Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins will be accepted on a limited basis
Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital will offer cholesterol screenings at four community locations this spring, giving residents a convenient opportunity to monitor their heart health.
The screening takes about five minutes and includes total cholesterol, good (HDL) and bad (LDL) cholesterol, triglycerides and blood sugar. A blood pressure check is also included.
Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins will be accepted on a limited basis.
Screenings will be offered on the following dates and at these locations:
Monday, April 13, 9-11 a.m. Warren Township Community Center 3986 New Cumberland Road NE, Mineral City
Tuesday, April 21, 9-11 a.m. Strasburg Senior Center 206 Second St. NW, Strasburg
Monday, May 18, 8-10 a.m. Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery Office 515 Union Ave., Suite 167, Dover
Wednesday, May 20, 8-10 a.m. Buehler’s Fresh Foods, Dover 3000 N. Wooster Ave., Dover
The cost of each screening is $12, payable by cash or check only.
