Erb to discuss Coleman collection at senior center program
Erb will talk about his journey from selling and repairing appliances to collecting more than 7,000 Coleman items
Ed Erb, owner of Erb’s Coleman Museum in Sugarcreek, will speak at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.
Erb will talk about his journey from selling and repairing appliances to collecting more than 7,000 Coleman items. To reserve a spot, contact the senior center at 330-364-6611.
Erb began his business in an outbuilding on his property and eventually built a showroom and warehouse in a more visible location. He has connected people from different communities and served members of Amish communities in Ohio, Delaware and Indiana as they transitioned from wood cookstoves to kerosene and then to natural gas.
Erb and his son, Duane, continue creating new initiatives to make their services and products available to more customers.
The program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library, held the third Thursday of each month at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, 425 Prospect St., Dover.
