OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties will host a community event featuring NFL Hall of Famer and Super Bowl XII champion Drew Pearson on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 9 a.m. The free event will be held at 822 30th Street NW in Canton and is open to the public.
Pearson, celebrated for his standout career with the Dallas Cowboys and his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will offer brief remarks, share career insights and take part in an audience question-and-answer session. Organizers say the presentation is designed to inspire attendees across all ages and backgrounds.
The event will also highlight the programs and services offered by OhioMeansJobs and include an introduction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Residency Program, presented by Hall of Fame representatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Pearson, connect with OhioMeansJobs staff, explore available workforce services and tour the facility.

Pearson, known as “Mr. Clutch,” is a former wide receiver for the Cowboys and a Super Bowl XII champion. He is recognized for his leadership, athletic excellence and long-lasting impact on the game. He now travels the country as a motivational speaker, sharing messages about determination, teamwork and overcoming adversity.
