Civil War Round Table to host trivia night, soup supper Dec. 11
A Civil War–themed trivia night and soup supper will be held in memory of longtime member Steve Long
The Tuscarawas Valley Civil War Round Table will hold a Civil War–themed trivia night and soup supper in memory of longtime member Steve Long Thursday, Dec. 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Dover Public Library, 525 N. Walnut St., across from Dover High School.
Community members are invited to bring a slow cooker of soup or another dish to share. Bowls, spoons, crackers and other essentials will be provided.
The mission of the Tuscarawas Valley Civil War Round Table is to educate the community about the American Civil War, preserve Civil War heritage and remember those who struggled for their cause. This year’s trivia night will be dedicated to Long, an iconic community leader, reporter, actor, playwright and Civil War enthusiast who died earlier this year.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
