Citywide leaf pickup begins Nov. 10 in New Philadelphia

Crews to start in downtown area before covering main streets and neighborhoods; residents asked to keep leaves off roadways

The citywide leaf pickup will begin Monday, Nov. 10. Residents are asked to rake leaves to the curb strip but not into the street. Bagged leaves will also be collected if residents prefer to bag them.

Pickup will begin in the downtown area, known as the Central Business District. After that, crews will move to the main thoroughfares, including:

• North and South Broadway 

• East and West High avenues 

• Fourth Street NW

Leaf collection will then continue throughout the rest of the city. Once the initial pickup is completed, crews will make a second pass to collect any additional leaves.
