Project Grinch Dust and other local charities will benefit from a pickup meal fundraiser Thursday, April 9, from 4-6 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 3640 Oldtown Valley Road, New Philadelphia.
The dinner includes pulled pork, a roll, cheesy potatoes, baked beans and dessert for a $10 donation. Dinners are limited.
To reserve a meal, contact Marcy at 330-285-6716.
Tickets also are available for a large raffle through the Tim Stein Charity. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
Prizes are $500 Sugar Valley Meats gift card for first place, an alcohol basket for second place and $100 cash for third place.
The drawing will be held April 9 at 6 p.m. after dinner. Proceeds will support Project Grinch Dust and other local charities.
A Chinese auction with numerous baskets also will be held. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
“Have a big heart, be real, kind and humble. It’s the greatest gift you can bestow on yourself and everyone around you,” said organizers.
