Stark State College appoints Lindsey Loftus vice president of advancement
Seasoned fundraiser and foundation leader joins college Nov. 3 after roles at Kent State, Pittsburgh and NEOMED, bringing decades of experience and $25 million raised in philanthropic support.
Lindsey Loftus has been named vice president of advancement at Stark State College and executive director of the Stark State College Foundation, effective Nov. 3.
Loftus brings extensive experience in principal, major, and planned giving, as well as alumni relations. Over his career, he has raised more than $25 million while serving in fundraising roles at institutions including Kent State University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Lander University in South Carolina. Most recently, he was senior director of principal gifts at Northeast Ohio Medical University, where he cultivated relationships with individual philanthropists to support the university’s mission and strategic goals.
Loftus earned a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Kent State, a master’s in higher education administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and a master’s in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota. An avid distance runner, he serves on the board of the Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation.
Stark State College is a student-centered, comprehensive community college serving nearly 13,000 students annually in Stark and Summit counties.
