It’s been four years since the last Cow Patty Bingo fundraiser for the Lake High School marching band. With a trip to Disney planned for next year, the band is bringing the event back.
This year’s Cow Patty Bingo will be held Saturday, April 25, beginning at 9 a.m. at the band’s practice field near the YMCA.
Dennis Miller will once again provide Clarabelle the cow for the event. Peace Love & Little Donuts will sell donuts, and a coffee truck from Pivot & Grace will also be on site.
A total of 625 tickets will be sold at $35 each by student members of the marching band participating in the trip. Each ticket corresponds to a 3-by-3-foot parcel on a grid marked on the field behind Lake Middle/High School. Parcel assignments will be randomly generated at 3 p.m. Friday, April 24.
Clarabelle will be led onto the field at 9 a.m. April 25 and will remain for up to two hours or until the first patty drops. The ticket holder whose parcel receives the first patty will win the $1,000 grand prize. If the patty lands on a line, a judge will determine the winning parcel.
After the first drop, a 30-minute timer will begin. If a second patty is dropped during that time, another ticket holder will win $300.
Winners do not need to be present but must present their tickets to claim prizes. Participants must be at least 18 years old to receive cash prizes.
The event will also include a 50/50 drawing and raffle baskets.
