On April 20, Uniontown Lions Club members, park trustees and residents spread 80 yards of mulch to refresh playground areas at Uniontown Community Park, which continues to see increased use by families.

On Monday morning, April 20, 16 community members – including Uniontown Lions Club members, Uniontown Community Park trustees and local residents – spread and raked 80 yards of mulch across two playground areas at Uniontown Community Park.

The park has seen a significant increase in use by families and children since the playground equipment was upgraded several years ago, highlighting its value as a community resource.

The club stated: "The Uniontown Community Park looks great. We’ve noticed a large increase in the number of families and children using the park since the playground equipment was upgraded several years ago. What a great community resource."
