Deersville fire department to host annual chili cook-off

The Deersville Community Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual chili cook-off from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at 107 E. Main St.

Participants are invited to bring their best chili. The entry fee is $5, and tastings will be available for $1 each. Organizers said the winner will take home the 2026 chili champion trophy.

The event will offer dine-in or carryout.
