River View teen honored as Elks Teen of the Month

Hallie Wallace recognized for community service and leadership at River View High School

Hallie Wallace

Hallie Wallace is River View’s Elks Teen of the Month for April. She is the daughter of Wesley and Kalie Wallace of Coshocton.

Wallace has been involved in the following school activities: varsity softball, volleyball, Teen Leadership Corps, National Honor Society serving as president, Spanish Honor Society serving as vice president, Letterman's Club, Superintendent Advisory Board member and Culture Club. She also has completed a senior project. Her senior project was the Coshocton County Courthouse Illumination Project, where she has completed far more than 30 hours of service.

Wallace was able to help organize different events to raise approximately $142,000, along with talking on the radio, helping at the ice skating rink and attending commissioners meetings.

Her community activities include helping with mobile markets to help pass out food to the community, helping announce at the River View volleyball games, helping with park clean-ups and helping with different activities in the school system.

Wallace currently works at Indian Bear Cork and Coffee. Upon graduation she plans to attend West Virginia Wesleyan College, majoring in health sciences and playing on the softball team.
