River View Boys soccer results from Bears and Redskins
River View played to a 1-1 tie with Smithville at home on Aug. 26. It was the fourth tie game of the season for the Bears. River View trailed in the match 1-0 at halftime before Parker Andrews scored to knot the game at one. Layton Massie recorded three saves in goal.
Coshocton won their first match of the season with a 2-1 victory at Tusky Valley. Senior Jared Collins and freshman Leo Laaper scored for the Redskins.
"I'm so proud of the boys and how tough we were physically and mentally tonight," Coshocton coach Conner Roahrig said.
The match was tied 1-1 at halftime.
"The team is getting better each day, and I look forward to continuing to see that growth as the season rolls on."
