Baltic State Bank presented a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location in West Lafayette on Oct. 10.

The newly constructed full-service branch features three drive-thru lanes, an ATM that allows customers to deposit both cash and checks, and the ability to print customer debit cards instantly in the branch. Loans, complimentary notary service and assistance with online banking access also are available every day at the new facility.

"Welcome to the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of Baltic State Bank, located on Kirk Street or state Route 93 here in West Lafayette," said Amy Crown, executive director for the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce. "We are super-excited to be here this morning in this beautiful new building with the entire staff here.”

West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce President Bo Fortune, Mayor Jesse Tubbs and the Coshocton County Commissioners were all there.

“Jason Starcher and his staff are here, and they're ready to get things open and get people signed up for Baltic State Bank,” Crown said. “On behalf of the chamber, welcome. We are super-excited for the investment in our community. This will be a better location for you in the community, so congratulations on behalf of the chamber.”

Fortune said, “It's a great opportunity for the village. We look forward to working with them.”

Tubbs said, “When they called and said they were looking for a location, I was super-excited and hopeful it was really them, and when they chose this specific location in this beautiful building, we are very excited to have them."

Coshocton County Commissioner Bob Bigrigg said, "On behalf of the county commissioners, I would like to commend Baltic State Bank for doing this right here. What a beautiful addition to the village of West Lafayette.”

Starcher said, "First, I would like to thank Amy, the commissioners and people in the village for being here. They have been excellent partners throughout this entire project. I'm very excited to get this started and to welcome this community in and provide them with the banking services they need. Thank you all very much for coming."

Starcher has more than 20 years of community banking operations and management knowledge, as well as project management experience as project leader for multiple projects including core system conversion, branch construction and remodels.

Baltic State Bank has more than $100 million of assets and has been serving communities as an independent community bank since 1902.
