School demolition continues in Carrollton

Demolition of the two school buildings on Second and Third streets NE in Carrollton is continuing. Crews were demolishing the south side of the former Carrollton High School building Sept. 2, including portions of the gymnasium and classrooms shown in the photo above. The 1955 cornerstone box has been removed and will be opened to retrieve the contents placed there in 1955.
