Nights on North Market returns Sept. 12 in downtown Minerva
Friday event features live music, art reception, late-night shopping, food trucks and DORA beverages from 4–10 p.m. across the North Market/High Street corridor.
Downtown Minerva will host Nights on North Market Friday, Sept. 12, featuring live music, art, shopping, food and drinks.
The Market Street Art Spot will hold a reception from 5-9 p.m., showcasing the work of Joan Henninger, with live music by Dick Rutledge and light refreshments.
West High Street between North Market and Main streets will transform into a pop-up pocket park with music from Gordon Oliver and Friends from 6-9 p.m. The area will also feature a bounce house sponsored by Naturescapes, games, crafters, vendors and local organizations.
Shops open late include Art on 30 Gallery & Gift Shop, Witchy Ways, Chic Haven Boutique, Sassy Rose Boutique and the Minerva Area Historical Society’s Haas Museum, which will welcome visitors from 6-8 p.m.
Dining options will be plentiful, with Walker’s Café, The Clever Cookie & Creamery and The Komfort Zone open into the evening. Food trucks and vendors on High Street will include The Wheely Good Food Truck, 330 Popcorn Co., Pretty in Fizz and Kava Culture.
Minerva’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect from 4 to 10 p.m., allowing beverages purchased at Sandy Springs Brewing Company, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, Stoney Inn and the Normandy Inn to be carried throughout the downtown area.
