Leesville receives picnic table donation

Leesville Mayor Mara Dai Malterer receives a newly donated bench by Lee Township resident Edward L. Hale.

Edward L. Hale, Lee Township resident, donated a newly built picnic table Aug. 9 to Leesville Mayor Mara Dai Malterer for the Village of Leeseville.

Hale donated this with the intent to create a welcoming space for connection, conversation and community-building at the Leesville Park.

"This is just the beginning, I plan to help other local towns within Carroll County," said Hale.
