Caring Hands quarter auction set for Aug. 16

County Caring Hands will host its annual quarter auction fundraising event on Saturday, Aug. 16. The event will take place at a new location: Carrollton Middle School Gym, 205 Scio Road SW in Carrollton.
Doors open at noon, with auction activities scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes one paddle. Additional paddles will be available for purchase.
The event will feature baskets, gift cards, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a quilt raffle. The quilt has been handmade by Sharon Clark. Refreshments will be available by donation.
Carroll County Caring Hands is a nonprofit organization that assists families in Carroll County with medical-related expenses.
