The Carroll County Democrats will host a drive-thru barbecue chicken dinner May 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carroll County Vets Club, 2038 Brenner Road.

The event is open to the public and all are welcome.

For $15, each meal includes a half chicken, baked potato with sour cream and butter, applesauce or fruit cup, roll with butter and two freshly baked cookies.

Napkins and plastic cutlery will be available for those who want to take their meals for a picnic.
