Carrollton FFA team ranks ninth in state competition
The Carrollton FFA agricultural mechanics skills team placed ninth out of 21 teams in the state competition March 26
The Carrollton FFA agricultural mechanics skills team of Andrew Pridemore, Logan Pridemore and Grant Thompson placed ninth out of 21 teams in the state competition March 26 at the Ohio State ATI Wooster campus.
Logan Pridemore is a senior, while Grant Thompson and Andrew Pridemore are sophomores.
“We are very proud of these boys and their hard work put into preparing for the contest,” FFA adviser Ryan Borland said.
Competition requirements included fluid identification, welding and beveling, reading standard and metric micrometers, using the Kubota tractor portal, reading schematics, fastener identification and tapping and thread restoration.
