Conotton Valley’s Kamden Wright signs with Geneva College
Wright will join the Golden Tornadoes football team and plans to major in early childhood education and special needs
Conotton Valley senior Kamden Wright, son of Casey Robinson and Justin Wright, has signed with Geneva College, where he will continue his academic and athletic career next fall.
Wright will join the Golden Tornadoes football team and plans to major in early childhood education and special needs.
A four-year letter winner in football for the Rockets, Wright has earned numerous accolades. He is a first-team OVAC selection, a first-team Eastern District selection and a 2025 honorable mention All-Ohio wide receiver. Wright holds the Conotton Valley career records for receptions with 253, receiving yards with 3,329, touchdown receptions with 38 and interceptions with 21. He also etched his name in the Ohio record book this past season by breaking the OHSAA state record for most consecutive games with a reception at 45.
He is also a two-year letter winner in basketball and a four-year letter winner in baseball, where he earned first-team OVAC and second-team Eastern District honors.
“We here at Conotton Valley look forward to following Kam’s career at Geneva College as he competes on the football field and works toward his degree in early childhood education and special needs. He has played a major role in the CV athletic program over the past four years competing for the Rockets,” Athletic Director Ed Marsh said.
Congratulations to Wright and go Golden Tornadoes.
