The first Carroll County Home and Garden Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Ashton Event Center at the Carroll County Fairgrounds, 160 Kensington Road NE.

Organizers said the show is designed for homeowners, families and anyone looking for home improvement ideas or a community event.

“We’re excited to bring this event to Carroll County for the first time,” said Emily Breeze, executive director of the BIA. “This is all about supporting local businesses and creating something the community can come out and enjoy together.”

The show will feature local contractors, home service providers and businesses offering information on decks, landscaping, remodeling and other home improvement projects. Attendees will be able to connect with professionals, ask questions and gather ideas for future projects.

In addition to home improvement vendors, the event will include craft vendors and local makers offering a variety of products.

Activities and attractions also are planned throughout the day. A Bloom Bar hosted by Flowers at Grover Farms will allow visitors to create custom floral arrangements. Craft beverages will be available from Aeonian Brewing Co. and Lincoln Way Vineyards.

Door prizes will be offered, and attendees can enter for a chance to win a storage shed or greenhouse provided by Millcraft Barns.

Food and drink vendors also will be on-site, including Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee and The Original Steak & Hoagies.

The BIA thanked sponsors and partners who helped organize the event, including Flowers at Grover Farms, Ag-Pro, Home Genius Exteriors, ProCon Exteriors, Superior Floor Coatings, Millcraft Barns, Aeonian Brewing Co. and The Millstone Grind & Cafe.
