Smithville’s Harvest Fest and Market set for Oct. 11

Free family event features local vendors, pioneer demonstrations, live music, tours and seasonal food and drinks.

The Smithville Community Historical Society will host its free annual Harvest Fest and Market on Oct. 11 with local vendors, live demonstrations, tours, music and food from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Smithville Community Historical Society's annual Harvest Fest and Market will take place Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event will include a Harvest Vendor Market, featuring local vendors offering baked and handcrafted goods.

There also will be live demonstrations including apple butter making, blacksmithing, butter making and rope making, as well as Pioneer Village tours, live music, a food truck and a coffee truck.
