5 Star opens landscape supply center in Wooster

5 Star Lawn Care & Landscaping announced the official opening of the 5 Star Materials Landscape Supply Center, now open to the public at 1375 Old Mansfield Road, Wooster. The supply center opened its doors April 6 and will operate from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The supply center opens with core materials available including mulch, stone and soil, with additional inventory continuing to arrive as the season progresses. The team is on hand to help homeowners and contractors find the right materials for their projects and answer questions along the way. "We've spent more than 20 years working in the yards, properties and communities of Northeast Ohio," said Chad Williams, owner of 5 Star Lawn Care & Landscaping. "Opening the supply center is a natural extension of that. No job is too big or too small, and we want every homeowner and contractor who walks through the door to leave with the right materials and the confidence to get the job done."

Williams started mowing lawns in his Wooster neighborhood at 14 years old with his parents' 24-inch lawn mower. By age 18 he had launched Chad's Lawn Care with 15 clients and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Over time Chad's Lawn Care became 5 Star Lawn Care LLC, growing from a one-man operation into a team of more than 25 employees serving commercial properties, HOAs, developers, contractors and residential communities across Northeast Ohio.

The 5 Star Materials Landscape Supply Center's inventory grows with the season. Core materials are available now, with additional product categories arriving in the weeks ahead including bulk mulch in multiple varieties, topsoil and soil blends, seasonal flowers and annuals, trees and shrubs, decorative stone and gravel, and grass seed and fertilizer.

The team can help customers estimate quantities, select the right materials for their soil type and project goals, and answer any lawn care questions along the way.
