Wayne County clinic earns Cigna health award

Cigna Healthcare has selected the Wayne County Employee Health Clinic as a recipient of the 2025 silver level Healthy Workforce Designation for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and vitality of its employees through a workplace well-being program.

The clinic, located inside the Administration Building, provides employees across county, township and village governments with convenient access to preventive care, health screenings and wellness resources designed to support healthier lifestyles and early intervention.

Providing services close to the workplace helps reduce barriers to care and supports overall employee well-being.

“Workforce vitality is our top priority; we are honored to be recognized with the Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation,” said Misty White, Clinic manager and nurse. “We understand the important role employee well-being plays in our organization’s success and how healthy employees contribute to a more productive, satisfied workforce and positive performance.”

The Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation evaluates organizations based on the core components of their well-being programs, including workforce insights, strategy and culture, health equity and social determinants of health, vitality dimensions, and engagement and experience.

Organizations recognized with this designation set the standard of excellence for organizational health and vitality. Cigna Healthcare’s selection of the Wayne County Employee Health Clinic with a silver level designation reinforces the county’s efforts and progress in 2025 toward nurturing a healthy work culture.
