Volunteer Connect Fair set for May 13 in New Philadelphia

A Volunteer Connect Fair will be held Wednesday, May 13, from 2-4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 201 W. High St., New Philadelphia.

The event invites community members to “find a purpose” by connecting with local nonprofit and community groups. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet more than 20 organizations and learn about volunteer roles that match their interests and skills.

Dessert, coffee and water will be provided, and free giveaways will be available.

The event is organized by Volunteer Leaders in Action and aims to help residents discover ways to serve, connect and make a difference in the community.
