Space memorabilia display continues America 250 celebration

The display focuses on the space race of the 1960s

The eight-item collection from Kevin Petite will be on display in the community room during February.

Dover Public Library will continue its America 250 celebration with a space memorabilia display from Tuscarawas County resident Kevin B. Petite.

The display, titled “From the Beginning in 1963 to Now: The Voyage Continues,” focuses on the space race of the 1960s and includes memorabilia ranging from “Ham,” the first chimp in space, to Ohio astronaut John Glenn.

The eight-item collection will be on display in the community room during February.
