Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds collection accepts up to 10 tires per household with registration required

Bringing the tires in to a central location for safe disposal is a win-win for both residents and the health department’s environmental concerns.

Do you have old scrap tires to get rid of? Make an appointment now for the Scrap Tire Disposal event Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds. Schedule by calling 330-343-5550 or emailing eh@tchdnow.org.

The cost is $1 per tire, with a limit of up to 10 tires per household by appointment only, supported by a grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. Semi or tractor tires will not be accepted. Rims are not accepted. This event is not for businesses or corporations.
