Otterbein UMC opens registration for Christmas Bible School
Children ages preschool through sixth grade are invited to “The Christmas Journey,” a one-day Vacation Bible School Nov. 29 featuring crafts, games and Bible lessons — with snacks and lunch provided.
The Children’s Ministries of Otterbein United Methodist Church will host a one-day, Christmas-themed Vacation Bible School from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. Registration will be held from 9:30 to 10 a.m., and pickup will take place from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
This year’s theme, “The Christmas Journey,” will include crafts, games and Bible stories. Snacks and a sack lunch will be provided for every child.
The event offers parents an opportunity to enjoy a day out or watch the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game while children take part in the Bible school.
Bill Eckert is pastor, Rev. Carl Orphanides is minister of visitation and Connie Forney is Bible school director.
Otterbein United Methodist Church is located at 6025 Shepler Church Ave. SW, about one-eighth mile south of the Fohl Road–Shepler Church roundabout.
To register, call 330-484-2776 during office hours, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon. The office is closed Fridays.
