Olivia Martin named supervisor at Sugarcreek Branch Library
Martin is a longtime Tuscarawas County resident and an experienced library programmer
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System has filled a vacancy at its Sugarcreek Branch by hiring Olivia Martin as branch supervisor.
“I think a key role of the public library is to be a source of community for our customers,” Martin said. “Whether this is through community partnerships, the access to lifelong learning resources and entertainment, or the friendships that can be formed at our book clubs and story times, it is one of my goals to continue to cultivate a community-oriented library.”
Martin is a longtime Tuscarawas County resident and an experienced library programmer. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Kent State University and later returned to complete a master’s degree in library science.
An avid library user, Martin said she values customer service and looks forward to serving the community and connecting with partners at the Sugarcreek Branch.
The Sugarcreek Branch Library is at 120 S. Broadway, Sugarcreek.
