Library to host Midwest Haiku Traveling Rock Garden
The display contains a variety of haiku etched into smooth, polished stones
The Midwest Haiku Traveling Rock Garden will roll into the Tuscarawas Valley this April at Dover Public Library.
Presented by Matthew Markworth, a longtime Midwest resident and member of Ohaio-ku, an Ohio haiku enthusiasts organization, the display contains a variety of haiku etched into smooth, polished stones. Each stone also features the author’s name and publication date.
In addition to the display, Markworth will present a program about the rock garden April 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the community room. The public is invited to learn more about the unique display.
Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St., Dover. For more information about upcoming events, call 330-343-6123 or visit doverlibrary.org.
