Library to host 2-week papermaking series for seniors
A Create With Me art series for adults 55 and older
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host artist Jessika Raisor for a Create With Me art series for adults 55 and older at the Main Library March 4 and 11.
The free, two-week series will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon each day. Raisor will teach participants the art of papermaking, and attendees will be able to take a finished project home.
“Our Create With Me series for seniors have been inspiring for those who attend,” said Megan Kovalaske-Grimm, public relations associate. “What often happens is when people try a new art medium, they find themselves exploring it even after the sessions are over.”
Registration is required, and participants must commit to attending both sessions. Register through the event calendar at tusclibrary.org or by calling 330-364-4474.
The Main Library is at 121 Fair Ave. NW, New Philadelphia.
