Juvenile court to hold fifth annual art scholarship contest
The contest is open to any graduating senior in Tuscarawas County
Tuscarawas County Juvenile Court Judge Adam W. Wilgus will hold the fifth annual Art Scholarship Contest. The contest is open to any graduating senior in Tuscarawas County.
Graduating high school seniors may submit wall art — a painting or drawing — along with an application and a brief explanation of the submission to the Tuscarawas County Juvenile Court no later than March 20, 2026.
The theme for this year’s contest is “250 Years of American Freedom.” Contestants are asked to submit wall art reflecting the 250th anniversary of America’s freedom and what it means to live “in the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
The first- and second-place submissions will be permanently displayed in Wilgus’ courtroom. The first-place winner will receive a $500 scholarship, and the second-place winner will receive a $250 scholarship.
The application and flyer are available on the Tuscarawas County website at www.co.tuscarawas.oh.us/.
Under the Government tab, select Court of Common Pleas, then Juvenile Division, then Forms and Instructions.
