Ham benefit dinner planned to support local resident
A silent auction also will be held, with multiple items donated for the event
Calvary Methodist Church, Kings Community Church and Prospect Global Methodist Church will host a ham benefit dinner Jan. 10 from 5-7 p.m. to support Rev. Eric Miller, who is recovering from complications following open-heart surgery.
Organizers said Miller has undergone at least 11 additional surgeries due to complications.
The dinner will be held at Christ Methodist Church, 638 Oak St., Newcomerstown. The meal will be offered by freewill donation and will include ham, green beans, cheesy potatoes, a dinner roll, a drink and dessert.
A silent auction also will be held, with multiple items donated for the event. Anyone interested in donating an item may contact Bobbi Ellis at 740-227-0101.
