Gnadenhutten Lions Club to host fall festival Oct. 18
Heck’s Grove Park event to feature chicken barbecue, live music, pumpkin painting and community bonfire benefiting Christmas on the Square
The Gnadenhutten Lions Club will hold a fall festival Oct. 18 at Heck’s Grove Park in Gnadenhutten from 4-7 p.m. A chicken barbecue will be served, with dinners priced at $15 each. Tickets are available at the Gnadenhutten Public Library, The First National Bank of Dennison and the Commercial and Savings Bank, all on Walnut Street in the village.
Entertainment will be provided by Neil Putnam, and pumpkin painting for children will be offered. Both activities are sponsored by HardCore Recycling and Towing. A community bonfire will also be part of the festivities.
The Lions Club hopes to make the festival an annual event. Proceeds from the chicken dinner will benefit the Christmas on the Square celebration.
