Freemasons to host cornerstone-laying ceremony

The event is open to the public, and a barbecue will follow

The cornerstone was removed from Caldwell Lodge in Bolivar when that lodge consolidated with Tuscarawas Lodge 59.

Tuscarawas Masonic Lodge 59 will host a cornerstone-laying ceremony April 25 at 12:30 p.m. at the lodge located at 735 N. Wooster Ave. in Dover. The event is open to the public, and a barbecue will follow.

The cornerstone was removed from Caldwell Lodge in Bolivar when that lodge consolidated with Tuscarawas Lodge 59. It now has Tuscarawas Lodge and New Philadelphia Lodge engraved on each side to symbolize the lodges’ unity.

The grand master of Ohio and his officers will perform the ceremony.
