Cross Caffé to host second annual Christmas event Dec. 8
Event features free food, crafts, balloon art, sleigh rides and festive activities as the nonprofit café gives back to the Strasburg community.
The second annual Cross Caffé Christmas will be held Monday, Dec. 8, from 5-8 p.m. at 201 Second St. NW in Strasburg. The event is sponsored by Kelly Real Estate and Choice One Interiors and is free to the community and anyone following the café on Facebook.
“This is a way to give back to the community. We will have free food with a select menu, beverages and a fun event,” owner Kelly Minard said.
Several staff members will volunteer during the celebration. Activities will include balloon art with Philup Balloons, a make-and-take craft and the annual Christmas coloring contest. Santa cookie kits will be available to take home for $5.
Whispery Pines will offer sleigh rides with Percheron horses from 5-7 p.m.
“We appreciate the community. Without the community’s support we would not be here. We are also a not-for-profit business,” public relations spokesperson Katie Vickers said.
