Garaway girls golf beats Tusky Valley in IVC play

The Garaway girls golf team defeated Tusky Valley 179-227 in Inter-Valley Conference play on Aug. 28.

Kylie Miller led the Lady Pirates and all golfers with a 37.

Garaway shot a 180 to beat East Canton (239) and Indian Valley (216) in IVC action on Aug. 26.

Miller was the medalist with a 40.

Garaway won the Meadowbrook Invite on Aug. 25.

Miller earned medalist honors with a 77. Sara Weaver was the runner-up medalist with a 78.

Volleyball

Garaway downed Sandy Valley 25-18, 25-18, 25-18 in an IVC clash on Aug. 28.

Charlee Yoder led the Lady Pirates with 32 assists and two aces. Audrey Miller had 12 kills and four digs; Kyleigh LaCroix had 10 kills; Quinn Schwartz had six kills, two aces and two blocks; Sydney Miller had 10 digs and three aces; and True Tango had seven digs and four kills.
