Lake High seniors eligible for scholarships

The Lake Community Hope is accepting scholarship applications through April 1.

Eligible applicants are 2026 graduating seniors from Lake High School who plan to pursue further studies. Ideal candidates have demonstrated exceptional engagement in extracurricular activities and community service beyond school.

The Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Melissa Dunham and her children, Renee, Amber and Evan, who lost their lives in 2023. The first scholarship was awarded in 2025.

The scholarship is managed through the Stark Community Foundation and is dedicated to supporting Lake Local Schools, the district the family cherished, attended and actively participated in. The fund provides annual scholarship assistance to graduating seniors from Lake High School who reflect the values of service and involvement that Melissa instilled in her children.
