Blue Ribbon General 4-H Club elects officers, discusses fair plans
The club discussed fundraiser ideas, project requirements and the updated livestock sale order
The Blue Ribbon General 4-H Club met Jan. 18 at West Chester United Methodist Church to discuss preparations for the upcoming county fair. Nine members and one leader were present.
Ethan Bardall called the meeting to order. Daisy Cyrus led the pledges.
Members elected the following officers: Gauge Trimmer, president; Daisy Cyrus, vice president; Sydney Lynch, secretary; Shae Lynch, treasurer; Olivia Downs, news reporter; Keith Christmas, recreation leader; Shawn Downs, health and safety officer; and Cora Pulley, community officer.
The club discussed fundraiser ideas, project requirements and the updated livestock sale order. Trimmer adjourned the meeting.
Anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to attend the next meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at West Chester United Methodist Church.
