2 arrested on drug, warrant charges after traffic stop on U.S. 250

A routine traffic stop early April 7 led to the arrest of two individuals on multiple charges near the Harrison-Tuscarawas county line.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop at about 2:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 250. The stop resulted in two individuals being taken into custody on outstanding warrants, along with additional charges.

Nicole Shundry, 36, of Canton, the driver of the vehicle, is charged with driving under suspension related to OVI, drug paraphernalia and multiple outstanding warrants.

Celiena Robinson, 28, of Sebring, a passenger in the vehicle, is charged with possession of drugs in a bulk amount, drug paraphernalia, drug abuse instruments, obstructing justice and an outstanding nationwide warrant.

Sheriff Mark Touville commended deputies for their work, noting their efforts help keep dangerous drugs out of the Harrison County community.
