Santa’s Christmas Carnival promises festive fun and fundraising on Dec. 7
Kids can meet Santa, enjoy crafts and activities while supporting Courthouse Illumination Project
Santa’s Christmas Carnival will return to bring holiday fun to children in the community Sunday, Dec. 7 from noon to 3 p.m. at the community room, 637 Chestnut St.
Children will be able to meet Santa, have story time with Mrs. Claus and make an ornament. There also will be bounce houses and a snow globe experience. They also can make reindeer food to take home for Christmas Eve. Cookies, milk and hot chocolate will be provided, and the Grinch will visit with children too.
Mary Beck, administrator/project manager for the Coshocton County Commissioners, said, “We’re excited to invite the community to our Santa’s Christmas Carnival. This festive event is not only a wonderful way for families to kick off the holiday season, but it also serves as a fundraiser for the Courthouse Illumination Project and the senior project for River View High School senior Hallie Wallace.”
The cost is $10 per child, and tickets must be purchased at the door. Only cash or checks will be accepted.
“We look forward to welcoming families for an afternoon of holiday fun while supporting a great cause,” Beck said.
The event is sponsored by the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
