RVHS Lady Bears win tournament
River View girls bowling team captures Rich Huntsman Memorial title and opens season 1-0 with victory over Claymont
On Nov. 22 the River View High School girls bowling team traveled to Sunrise Bowling Center in Zanesville for Tri-Valley's Rich Huntsman Memorial Tournament and came away the champions.

On Nov. 22 the River View High School girls bowling team traveled to Sunrise Bowling Center in Zanesville for Tri-Valley's Rich Huntsman Memorial Tournament.
The Lady Bears battled through qualifying to take the No. 3 seed for matchplay. The Lady Bears defeated Butler Vadalia 203-150 and 170-109 to move on to the semifinals, where they defeated Marysville 181-139 and 198-141 to move to the finals against Parkersburg South (West Virginia). River View won in three games 174-136, 132-142 and 204-138 to bring home the championship.
The Lady Bears were led by junior Karley Stocker with a 480 series, sophomore Morgan Rowe with a 477 series, junior Kaylie Bryan with a 460 series, sophomore Mya Dobson with a 456 series and freshman Kendall Duff with a 214 (PR) game. Also chipping in on the Bakers games were senior Zoe Hardesty, junior Madi Bryan and sophomore Shannon Durben.
On Nov. 24 the River View girls bowling team traveled to Boulevard Lanes to take on the Claymont Lady Mustangs. The Lady Bears rolled to victory 1,806-1,556 to start the season 1-0.
The Lady Bears were led by sophomore Morgan Rowe with a 352 two-game set, junior Kaylie Bryan with a 333 two-game set and junior Karley Stocker with a 321 two-game set.
