River View FFA hosts leadership workshop
Coshocton County youth engage in leadership activities and square dancing at community event.
Recently, River View FFA members teamed up with Coshocton County Farm Bureau members, Ridgewood FFA and Coshocton County 4-H members for a leadership workshop and square dance at the Coshocton Community Room.
Members had the chance to interact with River View FFA alumni member Taryn Tumblin, who shared a message about getting involved, looking ahead and taking the time to explore opportunities.
She talked about her experiences as a Coshocton County 4-H member and leader, a River View FFA member and leader, a River View High School student involved in various activities, and how those choices helped open doors as she applied to and was accepted at Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute, where she now serves as an ATI ambassador.
Attendees asked questions and got to know her and hear about her journey.
After the presentation an Ag Quiz Bowl took place, followed by grabbing partners and jumping into large and small square dancing sets to wrap up the night.
