Schrock, Lahmers lead Ridgewood
Ridgewood recorded a 4-2 road victory over Indian Valley.
Keira Schrock paced Ridgewood at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI to power the offense. Schrock’s timely hitting helped the Lady Generals build enough cushion to hold off the Lady Braves.
Addison Lahmers delivered another dominant performance in the circle, pitching all seven innings. Lahmers scattered six hits while striking out 13 to earn the win and keep Ridgewood undefeated.
Britt Bates, Jayden Jaras and Pru Fechuch each added two hits in the balanced Ridgewood attack.
Ridgewood then picked up another 4-3 win over Indian Valley. Jayden Jaras earned the win while striking out six. Kaydence Lahna, Addison Lahmers, Britt Bates, Keira Schrock, Alyza Fender and Jaras all had hits for the Generals in the win.
Lady Redskins walk it off
Coshocton earned a walk-off victory at home, edging New Lexington 1-0 in a pitcher’s duel.
The Lady Redskins broke through in the bottom of the seventh inning when Paiten Gambill delivered the game-winning hit, bringing home the only run of the contest and sealing the win.
Coshocton controlled play offensively, outhitting the Panthers 8-0. Gambill and Breanah Wickliff each collected two hits to lead the Lady Redskins at the plate.
Savannah Gambill was dominant in the circle, earning the win while allowing just one hit and striking out nine. Her strong outing kept New Lexington off the scoreboard and set the stage for the late-game heroics.
Coshocton then picked up a 7-0 shutout victory over River View.
Mallory Stamper led the Lady Redskins at the plate, collecting three hits and driving in two runs to pace the offense. Coshocton built momentum throughout the contest and never allowed the Lady Bears to get on the scoreboard.
Savannah Gambill contributed in multiple ways, recording two hits and two RBI while earning the win in the circle. Gambill struck out eight batters and did not issue a walk in a dominant performance. Sister Paiten Gambill also had a strong day offensively, finishing with two hits including a triple and a double.
River View managed hits from Hallie Wallace, Aurora Yoder and Shieann Waldren but could not string together enough offense to threaten.
