Ribbon cut for Rooted Wellness of Coshocton primary care

Comprehensive care tailored to you will soon be available at Rooted Wellness of Coshocton LLC.

The new primary care office is being opened by Dawn White, APRN, CNP, and will be its own entity at the office of Chad Guess at 5 Point Chiropractic.

White has more than 30 years of nursing experience and has been a nurse practitioner for eight years.

"Opening my own office has been in the back of my mind for a while, but I think I lacked the confidence before," she said. "Last year, after having breast cancer, I started realizing I could do this. It made me look at things differently, and the right people showed up to help. The spirit pointed me where I needed to be. There might still be some bumps in the road, but I feel I have the confidence now to make the right decisions."

Rooted Wellness of Coshocton LLC will be a family practice, and White is open to Western and holistic medicine approaches.

"We can even blend them and meet in the middle," she said. "I want to guide my patients and help them. I don't want to make them do anything they don't want to."

White plans to initially see patients Thursdays and Fridays and work half-days on Saturdays a few times a month. White also will do virtual appointments.
